Book Review: Good price for hard to find stories!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Yes, the quality of the Images is not the best it could be. This is not poor printing quality however. I have many of these tales in their original printings in Creepy and Eerie magazines and those in this book compare favorably, the thick, glossy stock of this book makes them much better. The issues brought up by other reviewers of this book lie more at the feet of Richard Corben himself than the publisher. Corben did the coloring on nearly all of these stories and had at that time a tendency to darken his work to the point of obscuring it in some panels. I don't know why he did this and he has improved significantly over the intervening years.
Try to get these tales in any other format (original Warren mags or their reprints in Comix International) for anything less than (...) or more. As I stated, in the original printings they appear much the same in quality. Until someone else decides to re-color these stories to make them less muddy, this is absolutely the best printing available. 23 Richard Corben stories (200 pages!!) for less than (...)!
If you are a Corben fan you will neither find a better value nor a better printing of these stories. Would I like to see these stories reworked for better quality? Absolutely, but until that happens this book is a true bargain at less than (...) per story. 5 stars for the best (and biggest) collection currently available.
