Book Review: A Great Cookbook for Beginners

I decided I needed to learn how to cook over winterbreak and I got this book. It is great!!! I knew nothing about cooking, but this book explains pretty much everything, from photo glossaries to tips on how not to mess up a recipe. Three great things about this book are 1) every recipe has photos with it, so you know what you're making, 2) the book sits flat while you cook, so you can easily look at it, while your hands are busy stirring, and 3) it includes a variety of recipes for a full meal; appetizers, meat, poultry or fish, vegetables, side dishes, and desserts.
This is a must have!
