Book Review: Excellent Book
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is certainly worth the price. I would recommend it specifically for the seasoned, natural bodybuilder who has reached a training plateau. I purchased the book in 1995 and I still use it today for one simple reason....I continue to get good results! It's been said that the volume is far too great for most people to handle without buckets of steroids. I disagree because when using this program, you only work-out for about 45 minutes as opposed to the hours many spend in the gym, furthermore, you only do one exercise per body-part for 3-5 sets so you never tear your muscles down too far. Also, I like the fact that during each week, you train for endurance(12-15 reps), strength(10-12 reps), and power(5-8 reps). I've been using this program for about 8 years now (including some periods of lay-off) and I've increased my bodyweight from 165lbs to 210lbs in that time. Also my biceps have increased from 14.5 in. to 17 and 1/4 in. My bench has gone from struggling with 225lbs to a full set of 10 reps with 315lbs. This book lays out a clear blue-print on how to work out, all the way down to the rest intervals. What really got me hooked was the fact that I was able to make gains in size and strength immediately, even though I don't work out with a partner. I can't say enough about this book. Do yourself a favor, get it!

Book Review: From A Woman's Point of View
Summary: 5 Stars

I am a woman bodybuilder who is all natural (Still look like a girl). This book is excellent. Those that say it doesn't work didn't follow it exactly, that includes the diet. I also bought the book that outlines the diet he recommends called The Anabolic Diet. Big Beyond Belief outlines a very specific workout. Those that it didn't work for, I would be willing to bet didn't follow it exactly. You learn how to manipulate 8 different ways to get muscles to grow. Most workouts only manipulate 2 or maybe three. I have been working out for 15 years the "old traditional way". I made more progress with my physique in 6 months than the previous 14 1/2 years. With this book I was able to win the NPC Colorado State Championship against many women "juicing" (using steroids). They looked like guys. I had phenominal muscle development for a woman and I couldn't have achieved this without this workout system. I highly recommend this book. I also recommend getting the Anabolic Diet also.

Book Review: GOOD [GREIF}!!! Fun for all ages!
Summary: 5 Stars

The first time I used this program it was a half...handown from a friend of a friend. I wasn't really doing anything but one of the Supergrowth Phases over and over for months. I was 15 and had just started lifting and didn't know any better, yet I still went from 130 lbs. soaking wet to (what I thought was big) 170 lbs. in just those short few months! I lost my half-assed version in an unfortunate washer/dryer gangbang in my gym shorts...but never forgot it's effectiveness, or it's name: "BIG BEYOND BELIEF". I spent four years tracking down this book before finding it on Amazon[.com] (where I should have looked in the first place...duh), and with the knowledge of good nutrition, and exercise practices I picked up during the search by doing other, effective yet not even in the ballpark of "BIG BEYOND BELIEF" I'm at it again with new vigor. In a mere three weeks I have gained 20 lbs. of lean muscle and experienced strength gains like never before. There are guys at my gym wasting their time with inferior programs that think I am on steroids based off the results I have experienced with "BIG BEYOND BELIEF". Bottom line: This is the single most effective program you will ever experience, hands down. This time, my copy is going in the vault, cause I'll be damned if I ever lose it again. Stop wasting your time, stop wasting your money, step up and make the best decision you have ever made for your physique, and your well-being. See ya in the gym...later.

P.S. It's now July and I've gained 40 lbs. since March...this program rocks!

Book Review: Great muscle-building book
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a good book for building muscle. I have an older version of it. It's focus is on lifting for bodybuilding. It is not for "toning" or "fitness". It doesn't have fancy pictures. It tells how bodybuilding training is different from powerlifting and aerobic training. It offers routines that change the number of reps, sets, rest time, and exercise order. I was stuck with making little progress even after a few years of lifting but I made some real gains with this book. It is not for beginners. It will give you a key on how to choose the best exercises but it won't specifically say which ones to do. It won't show you how to do them either. These routines are hard. They will be asking a lot and will wear you out. If you aren't in decent weightlifting shape and/or you aren't familiar with weightlifting, you won't be ready for this book. If you are, then these will not be problems for you. That is why I give it five stars. You must follow the routines to the letter. The book stresses this. DO NOT SKIP ANY DAYS. An occasional day won't hurt you but whenever I got into the habit of skipping days (like one a week for a few weeks) my progress halted. Don't try to alter or customize the routines either. You also have to make sure you eat enough, but that's always crucial for building muscle. If you want to pack on some real size, get this book. I gained 20 LBS in 20 weeks and got stretch marks all around my arm pits. I didn't take any drugs either. The stretch marks will eventually fade and aren't noticeable unless you really look for them. Eventually, the progress will slow and one day you may need to move to another routine, but for a good while it should really work for you. Just do exactly what it says and get the right kind and right amount of calories. Some might say that this all sounds like the ordinary basics for any lifting program, but I've been lifting for ten years and swear by this book. They have specific reasons for making the routines the way they do. There's nothing special or very different about them. I don't have the room to explain it here. I just know that they worked for me. Nothing has come close to the progress I have gotten from it. This book is only for those hard-core lifters who want to really put on muscle.
