Book Review: You will not need any other legal dictionary
Summary: 5 Stars
Despite apparently having an American slant, this covers English law excellently well, too.Apparently utterly exhaustive.
The definitions are logically grouped (e.g. under the heading "contract", there are definitions of zillions of types).
The various distinct meanings are set out and elaborated upon separately.
The book is excellent for highlighting current usage and also indicating historical, now defunct usages of terms and provides you with the vocabulary and broader means to express yourself in legal terms.
I'm a legal translator, and this book has revealed more to me about the law over the last couple of weeks than other legal dictionaries have over the course of years.
I have some legal training, but this is not required to be able to use this dictionary.
