Book Review: Great developments and consolidation of this series
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a series that is getting stronger as it progresses, not least becuase it is allowing the minor characters to come to the forefront and tell their own tales. Although lupi Rule and his mate, FBI agent and sensitive, Lily Yu are still a major part of the story it is Cynna and Cullen, both outcast from their respective societies who are the real focus of this novel.
Underlying the characters is an increasingly strong plot arc, involving seeking the Codex or book of all magic. This has also picked up on a short story of EW's, so at some point we will see how it all weaves together.
However, for me it is the family dynamcis that bind these stories together - complex and different relationships with parents and children, responsibilities given and accepted, and after all, what could be more cool than a grandmother who could turn into a tiger?
