The book is absolutely amazing! It took me less than a day to read it, as I couldn't put is aside: I was longing to know what would happen next and share every emotion the heroin felt... I have been a huge Lisa Kleypas fan for a long time. I have loved her historicals, but after reading "Sugar Dadddy' and now "Blue Eyed Devil", I think I am an even bigger fan of her contemporary novels. This book tells the story of Hardy Cates and Haven Travis who were both introduced in "Sugar Daddy", so be sure to read it first! Hardy is the kind of guy that any woman would die for, and Haven is such a wonderful and sympathetic character who really transforms throughout the entire story. I like the fact that the novel is written in the first person; it really helped me to get inside of Haven's character. I hope that Lisa will continue to write from this perspective as it is highly effective. I laughed, cried, and did not want this novel to end. It is without question my favorite book of the year!!
