Book Reviews of Blue is for Nightmares

Book Review: Not that fabulous
Summary: 2 Stars

I looked at all these reveiws and I thought that it would be so much better than it was. I thought it was wierd, stranmge and confusing. I know everybody thinks this book is fabulous, but I think it sucks bigtime. Sorry to the author but this is really not that great, with like the witch girl, and the slutty friends? No way. THere are way better books out there, If u liked it I'm sorry but it was a sucky book.

Book Review: A great book!
Summary: 5 Stars

At first I was a little unsure about the book since I prefer 3rd person writing to 1st person writing( most of the time) but this book...once I started reading I was hooked. I highly recommend this book and the books that follow in this awesome series.
I also recommend Cate Tiernan's Sweep and Balefire Series.
And any book by L.J. Smith.

Book Review: I loved it!
Summary: 5 Stars

Im 21 I just read this book and let me tell you i didnt want to put it down. It took me 3 nights to finish it. I love the authors writing style getting into detail with certain things making you feel like your right there witnessing everything down to the way someone holds their pencil like a ciggarete! So many suspects, so many questions and all going back to Grandmothers lessons in the craft! As a wiccan it is a great book I will own the others!

Book Review: Blue is for Nightmares is a great book!
Summary: 5 Stars

Blue is for Nightmares by Laurie Faria Stolarz is a great book. Stacey Brown is in her junior year at Hillcreast, a boarding school, when she starts having nightmares about her best friend and roomate, Drea. Drea isn't helping the matter by talking to some guy over the phone that she dosen't know. He starts leaving her lilies and acts like they are a couple. When Stacey and Drea tell the campus police, they won't take them siriously. Worst of all, a girl is murdered on campus. With the help of folk magic Stacey learned from her grandmother, she tries to uncover what her nightmares mean before Drea ends up the same way. It's full of suspense, mystery, and even some romance. I highly recomend this book.

Book Review: A Little Bit of Everything
Summary: 5 Stars

Blue is for Nightmares is the perfect started for a seris. It's a amazing mixture of Magic (Diana Wynne Jones), Horror/Thiller (Stephen King), and even a twinge of Gossip Girl! Laurie brings every character to life in a instant and has created a plot line that leaps off the page. She uses her personal touch and attention to detail are used to the fullest in things like Stacey's card readings to a nailpolish shade to even a Blind Date reference. A must read that girls of all ages should pick up off the shelf.
