Book Reviews of Blue is for NightmaresBook Review: ¤*A Great Read!!*¤ Summary: 4 StarsBlue is for Nightmares by: Laurie Faria Stolarz is a pretty good book. I really liked it. It was one of the best books I've read. It kept me in suspense until the very end. This book has a lot of suspense and mystery in it. I liked how it had a mystery character in it and no one knew anything about him, because that just adds to the story making you want to keep on reading the book until you find out more. Stacy's room mate, who is her best friend, started receiving notes, phone calls and packages from this mysterious person. He would leave her threatening letters telling and white lilies, which is the flower of death.
I also liked how the author made Stacy have dreams about the stocker that's after Drea and what he's going to do to her and when.
I didn't really like the fact that the author made Stacy wet the bed every time she has a dream about Drea, because it's not really normal. Stacy is a little too old to be wetting the bed. I thought that was weird to have a 16 year old girl wetting the bed. There wasn't really anything that I didn't like about this book. I thought it was a pretty good book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books with a lot of mystery and suspense in them. This book just happens to have a lot of that in it. I think that teenagers would probably like this book, because it has mostly stuff that teenagers are going through with boyfriends in it.
This was the first time I've read one of Laurie Faria Stolarz books and I thought that she is a good author. I would give this book 4 stars, because I thought the book was pretty good and it was also strange at times.
Book Review: the best yet Summary: 5 Starsthe book has me with mt mouth open to the last page i just can not get anymore i can not wait unstill the end to see if drea die or lives
Book Review: BEST BOOK I EVER READ!!! Summary: 5 StarsWhen my L.A. teacher told us we needed a free reading book, my friend gave me this book to borrow. I knew I might like it because I love mystery books like this. Even though I usually don't read, I couldn't put this book down! I just finished it around midnight last night, and it was great. I thought the ending was a little unexpected, which made it even better. I highly suggest to read this book, even if you don't like reading. I am hoping to get White is for Nightmares for my birthday next month!!
Book Review: Highly Enjoyable! Summary: 5 StarsMy friend let me borrow this book, and I had doubts for it since we have very different tastes for music, movies, and books, but I highly enjoyed this book!
Its through the eyes of Stacey who practices Wicca and witchcraft taught to her by her grandmother who already passed away. Stacey has nightmares which then lead to giving her clues that her bestfriend Drea will be murdered. Stalkers, notes, and murder eventually lead to finding the creepy stalker.
A must read! I usually don't read mystery stories that keep me going in just 1 day, but this one grabbed my attention.
Book Review: Blue is worth the while Summary: 4 StarsThis is not an example of great story telling, in terms of plot. The guilty party is easily recognized halfway through the book, and the attempts to keep the readers off the trail become annoying and pointless. Not to mention the why of it is also very stupid. Those points aside it is a very involving read, I finished it in one sitting. What raises this story a star above what I would really give it is its delve into the world of Wicca. It isn't overblown with the obvious powers of levitation and all the other powers of black magic. It sticks to its roots, which is really nice. So enjoy, because this book is a sample of an above passable teen book.
