Book Reviews of Boldtext Pew Bible: King James VersionBook Review: Another difficult review. Summary: 5 StarsI honestly can't believe there are only two hundred reviews on this.
THE BIBLE???
Did I miss the edition that millions have read?
Oh well.
Here's my take on the bible.
I was raised and force fed Catholicism since birth.
Turning out to be gay kind of threw a major wrench into what I believed.
The bible itself?
Some interesting stories, but not really that believable.
As I turned away from Christianity, I started to investigate other religions.
Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, the occult and even Satanism.
I didn't find any answers from any of them.
Millions of lives have been affected positively and negatively by all the major religions.
I have a hard time pledging my afterlife to any one of them.
They all have good aspects and bad aspects.
If you read the bible word for word, some of it is pretty horrifying.
Would God really tell Abraham to kill his own son?
I doubt it.
We have a term for people that say God told them to kill..........schizophrenia!!!
If Abe were alive today, his kid would have been taken away and he'd be in a padded cell.
Then we can go on and on about Moses and who he really was and Jesus and who he really was.
The bottom line is, you either believe it or you don't.
Sorry but I've been in the middle of a spiritual crisis for many years and I simply don't believe 90 % of this book to be historically accurate.
Many in the occult word call this "the book of lies".
I hate to agree, but so much of God's word has been twisted and distorted to empower a select few.
The good book did not arrive via fax from God, but rather it was written by man.
Man is flawed and so are his religions.
Where does this leave the rest of us?
Blindly going about our daily lives looking for answers that no one has.
I'm in no way criticizing anyone who is a "true" believer.
Find a system that works for you and run with it.
Christianity stopped working for me a long time ago and none of the other religions have a clue either.
Think for yourself.

Book Review: Don't sell any other books in combination with the Holy Bible ! Summary: 5 Stars
Sins are governing this country, and the worst is allowing worshiping other gods rather than God and Jesus Christ. Have you forgot God and Jesus gave us prosperity and democracy and all other things that we enjoy in our everyday life? If you think not, just look at countries that ruled by other religions where people living in fear, poverty, hunger, being brainwashed and exploited. The USA is what it is today, is NOT because of any other religion but because of the Christianity. Don't forget this, or we will be ruled by tyranny sooner than you think. Remember: in the Ten Commandments, the first 5 is about Only worshiping God and Jesus. First
"I am The Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me."
Second
"You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I The Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love Me and keep My Commandments."
Third
"You shall not take The Name of The Lord your God in vain; for The Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain."
Fourth
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to The Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or the sojourner who is within your gates; for in six days The Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore The Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."
Commandments Five to Ten:
How To Live In Peace With Humanity:
Fifth
"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which The Lord your God gives you."
DON'T sell any other books in combination with the Holy Bible!
Book Review: Praying worked for me! Summary: 4 StarsI'm a person who is not without means, my friends are also somewhat involved in the world community. We prayed for chaos, riches, war and increased power from the turmoil, and, with a little help from our friends (who also prayed) it came true.
We've got our own private army now, more gold than you shake a stick at and almost limitless power over our citizens who are content (via our friends in the media) to let us carry on and improve our situation (more to come!).
Praise be!
Book Review: I liked the plot and suspense Summary: 4 StarsIf you are looking for a story filled with powerful characters from warriors and kings to a talking donkey and a parthenogenesis zombie than this is a story for you! The plot keeps you on your toes and I enjoyed this psuedo historic work merged with fantastic mythology that really brings out an aura of mystical feel to reading it. Some parts are abit choppy but other than that it is right up there with Lord of the Rings.
