Book Review: A good survey of brain enhancement themes
Summary: 5 Stars
I found this work to be a very comprehensive survey of many current themes in mind/brain development. He gives many practical suggestions so that these can be explored. The most valuable use of the book is, I think, to do the explorations and then to follow up using the references which are provided for each chapter.
In general I liked the book's point of view, and enjoyed it most when Leviton let himself comment more fully on the subjects he was surveying.
I write this review because I actually do almost all the stuff he writes about - nootropics, mind machines, pranayama, chi gung, sound therapy, brain gym, etc. It has made my life delightful! It was pleasant finding an author who had made the same connections!
