This book identifies problems that regular literatures of these kind of texts know exist. It offers good grounding and basic understanding of what might be descrimbed as a "slave mentality" as well as some explanations for why things are the way they are. It does not however offer any major debates or insights into upliftment. Overall its a good read and worth puchasing.
