Book Review: Amazingly good!
Summary: 5 Stars
The main plot to the story is there is this boy, who in the previous book wound up stranded in the forest, then learned to survive in those conditions after a while. In the second book he wanted to return because he missed the woods and the way it felt to be in them. He never liked life as it was at his home, giving him more the reason to return. This was probobly the best book I have ever read, books by the same author are also just as good.

Mr. Paulson is an excellent writer and he proves he writes well in the book Brian's Return. Mr. Paulson never leaves out any information needed. He keeps his readers minds working hard by using sense imaging for the reader's imagination. Even if you never have been to Minnesota you will know what it looks like just from his descriptions. Mr. Paulson makes his books so that all ages can enjoy it. In his book Brian's Return, Mr. Paulson proves he is a very intelligent man and knows what he is writing about. I recommend that everyone tries to read one of Mr. Paulson's books they are excellent.Book Review: An awsome second part!

The first book was an awsome action and adventure packed story, and every aspect of the second book was even better. In my opinion this book is greater than any book I have ever seen. The authors books are some of my favorites over any other author I have seen. I would recommend this book to anyone, most books I would get rather bored with, but this one seems to catch my intrest.Book Review: BRIAN'S RETURN

The book Brian's Winter is the last in the series and in my opinion the dullest one of the series. It is about how Brian returns to the woods after he gets in a fight with some kid. He goes to this councler and decides he has to go back to the woods. The book is not as exciting as the other three and not as fun to read. I purchased this book because it is so affordable, and then once I got it I was pleasantly shocked by how beautiful and sturdy this paperback book is. It is one of several sequels to <u>Hatchet<u/>, which my son and I really enjoyed reading. My 11 year old son can't wait to read this one.
