Thank you for writing about your experiences with drugs, as a mother it made me understand a lot of things, mainly how hard u have to work at staying clean and how deathly it can be. I bought a copy for my son who is in the recovery process. I could see the pain between the lines. thanks again for sharing the courage to give up a lot just to stay involved. Having been sober for 21 years in AA and 20 years of AlAnon, this is one of the best descriptions of the recovery process that I have ever read. Bill is so insightful and honest about the feelings and thoughts of an addict - no matter of whether it's to drugs, alcohol, food, people, etc. His story and insights were both harrowing and inspiring. Thanks so much for you honesty and for keeping on - one day at a time!Book Review: this book is AMAZING!!
