Build up your Chess with Artur Yusupov: The Fundamentals Volume I
I highly recommend this book for beginners and intermediate players. Mr Yusupov has come up with a challenging book for anyone serious to improve his chess. All 24 Chapters and 12 exercises at the end of every chapter are very instructive covering a broad range of fundamental chess principles. (On a side note, I was very fortunate to have met Mr Yusupov at the 2008 World Open at the Sheraton in Philadelphia. I remember suggesting that he should write a book and asked him to autograph my Capablanca Chess Fundamentals book which he kindly did. Little did I know...) Can't wait to start his second book shortly!
