Book Review: Betrayal at it's literary worst...
Summary: 2 Stars

I think the author who wrote this book was awful for betraying Hef's trust the way she did. Some of the things she wrote....he must be so embarrassed. She sponged off this man for 2-1/2 years, yet the whole book she mocks him, makes fun of him and complains about what he wouldn't buy for her. She complains about his priorities yet she doesn't seem to notice something wrong with her own.

I wanted to read the book, its true. But that she even wrote it is horrible. Just another way to get money via her association with him. She betrayed his trust by writing such humiliating things. And she is an awful writer. English is her 4th language.....so what. Get an editor. Proof read. Her sentence structures are awful, there are many typos and she is constantly using words and phrases incorrectly in an attempt to make her writing sound more intelligent. It only makes her sound stupid.

She also makes the mistake of thinking people are buying this book because they care about her life outside of the playboy mansion. I dont care about the history of your native country of Poland or what happened to your family, about your life in Greece or Canada, about the guy you lost your virginity to, your college experience and all the guys you had relationships with. Just get onto the title of the book, "inside the playboy mansion". Dont be silly enough to think that people care about YOU and YOUR life, they want to know about HEF and HIS world.

So basically the writer shows herself to be selfish (she gets so much but it isnt enough), hypocritical (all the other girls are dumb blonde golddiggers but she is an educated woman looking for an experience) and she is cruel in her portrayal of a man who gave her so much, who she CHOSE to be with and honestly, expected very little from her in return.

On the otherhand, if you are looking for scintillating and graphic gossip, this is the book for you.

Book Review: Bragging Rights
Summary: 3 Stars

Although this book gave an inside look into being an infamous Hugh Hefner Girlfriend, it was very lacking in integrity and honesty. The one sided view of Isabella is not only frustrating but unrealistic. She continually explains how she was an innocent, intelligent woman and never did a thing wrong. She also uses several circumstances to brag about her wealth and priveleges as if she is deserving of all the praise in the world.

This book is less autobiographical and more a vent and rant session of a spoiled girlfriend and her inner feelings about other women that got in her way. She never owned up to her own mistakes or shortcomings and that make the book fall flat. Although I enjoyed the sections about the mansion and the lifestyle, I could have done without the self-pity.

Book Review: Bravo Izabella- An Honest Person In A World Of Lies and Deceit!
Summary: 5 Stars

I do not know what some of the other reviewers were talking about, this was the best book I read all year. This was a great book from the 1st page to the last. I truly wish it were longer.

St. James has a gift for storytelling and detail that most memoirs lack. From the dirty carpets to the real story behind the Girls Next Door- I knew Bridget was crazy, to her families escape from the Iron Curtain and now living the American dream.

I have to commend St. James for having the courage to stand up against Playboy and its founder Hefner and tell the real truth behind the facade. In a world of lies, political correctness, and manipulation, this book was a great beacon of truth. St. James' honesty about herself, what Hefner is really like and the other girlfriends demented realities should be applauded.

Thanks for the honesty and exciting read, if more people in the world were like St. James, it would be a better place.

Book Review: Bunny Tales
Summary: 3 Stars

This was a great book if you want a little more insight into the playboy mansion. I watch the Girls Next Door on E! and since I have started watching I have wanted to know some more secrets of Hugh Hefner, his girlfriends, and Playboy. I have heard and read a lot of things before reading this book, but things are clarified. I think if you want to know more about Playboy and what life is really like, this book will provide that.

Book Review: Bunny Tales

Poorly written self serving book. The author should go back to studying law.
