Book Review: Couldn't put it down...
Summary: 5 Stars

I read this book in 2 days... I really couldn't put it down! I don't want to give away too much, but I can't believe the rules the "girlfriends" had to live by. I think the "Girls Next Door" have it much better than the former gf's since they are making their own money now with the TV show. Oh and the thought of ALL that babyoil and Hef... yuck! LOL

Book Review: Disappointing
Summary: 2 Stars

I love The Girls Next Door and I was curious. I bought the book and read it in one sitting. The book delivers in salacious tidbits and catty comments. Disappointing, however, is Ms. St. James' disregard for the legacy of the man she claims she admires and appreciates. Even more disappointing were the obvious attempts to cover herself and keep her options open with the very man and industry she was trashing. Her buffers of love and gratitude are transparent and disappointing. If she wanted to trash him, then she should have just trashed him and spared us from her thinly vailed love and gratitude. I hope the door hit her on her bunny tail when she left the mansion.
And one nitpicky thing. Hef doesn't own the mansion because HIS company owns the mansion. If he personally owned it, he would be liable for lawsuits and such. Most wealthy people do not personally hold their wealth - they keep in locked up in a company to avoid lawsuits and taxes.

Book Review: Don't waste your money
Summary: 2 Stars

This woman tries to make herself sound good. She trashes all the other 'girlfriends' in the house while making herself sound educated, entitled and completely validated. She's not. She bashes Hugh Hefner and tries to make the pampered life of a 'girlfriend' sound tedious. She flaunts her law school education and tries to make light of the fact that she never passed her boards. She also tries to make it seem she wasn't basically a prostitute as a paid employee of Hef. I was bored and I ended up not liking her at all.

Book Review: Don't waste your time
Summary: 2 Stars

The author contradicts herself throughout the entire book. ex. Hef was a mean man...Hef was wonderful to me! This becomes incredibly annoying as she does this throughout. She is also thinks a little too highly of herself as she praises her beauty and law degree as well as her integrity. Get over yourself. She also admits to using Hef...how sweet.

Book Review: Easy Read
Summary: 4 Stars

This book is a easy and fun read. It is an interesting look inside the playboy mansion. My college freshman and her friends also enjoyed it and passed it around.
