Book Review: Fantastic and Cheap Fun

This is an activity that has been around for so long. I am glad that it still remains pretty popular. I think more parents should introduce activities like this to their kids. It is inexpensive, easy to learn, and offers a variety of tricks for different skill levels.
I purchased this book for my 8 year old daughter. I wanted her to have other activities then TV, video games, and the computer. This is going to be a x-mas present so she has not seen it yet. She has never done string tricks before either so it will be fun to help her. (if she wants me too) I was pleasantly surprised to find the book did come with the string. I did not realize this and thought I had to order one. (I may have missed it in the description) I believe the book will be easy for her to follow. The instructions and pictures are clear.
This will be a great activity for car rides, restaurants, and those long waits at the doctors office. Especially with flu season so she doesn't have to touch the other toys and books that may have germs on them. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an easy activity for children ages 7-12.
