Book Review: *A must have book for children with Asperger's and their family/friends*

My 4 1/2 year old son was recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Although he's on the younger side and my husband and I haven't told him about his diagnosis as of yet, we knew that family and friends needed to know why he acts the way he does at times. I am so happy we chose this book. It is absolutley perfect! My husband even said, "Wow, now that I understand!" we let our family and friends use it and read it to their children. It is geared for 7-15 year olds, but I think adults understand it just as well (better than all the website info.)
A few things about Asperger's don't apply to our son...like having being obsessed with a "special interest", so when it metnioned this part in the book, I simply said, "At this time (name) does not have any "special interests" that he is obsessed with." and I printed it on a clear label and stuck it to the bottom of the page. In the beginnong of the book I also wrote a little note to our family members thanking them for taking the time to read the book (an easy, fairly quick read).
Everyone loved it!
