Book Review: 5 Stars from a dedicated "cat hoarder"

As I look around my living room I see a 7 yr old snuggling peacefully with a 7 mo old as a 9 yr old slumbers, purring, nearby. All is mellow and I truly beleve that I owe the tranquility amongst my cats (10 in all) to this book. The chapters on introducing new cats to a household are particularly invaluable. My cats range in age from 7 months to 15 years and get along quite well about 95% of the time. My oldest cat is the only one who has issues but I make allowances for her because of her age and with a little bit of tweaking here and there, as suggested by the book--an extra litterbox, Feliway plug-ins, alone time, sperate feedings--her inappropriate urination has stopped and she is much more relaxed. She will even allow the "baby kitties" to lie on the bed with her provided they don't get too close. It really warms my heart to watch the group "playtimes" when there is a lot of frisky chasing and wrestling, without anyone becoming overly agressive or getting angry. The older cats still don't enjoy having their tails messed about with, but who would?
