The book is always better than the movie? Not in this case. This was the most boring, empty book Ive ever read. It was like reading the same chapter over and over. You would be hard pressed to find any substance in this book. There was no depth in the characters, even the little girl who should have been easy to enjoy and adore, there was just a void. Im not usually so critical, its just surprising how badly written and disappointing this book is.
