Book Review: A great book with lots of good information and helpful tips.

I'm a chronic pain patient and have been researching anything I can find that's helpful to my situation since I've been in pain. Yet, even after reading more books about pain management than I could count on my fingers, this one still managed to provide me with a lot of different points and bits of information that I had never read anywhere else. As with all "For Dummies" books, the way it's laid out is ingenious. It makes it super easy to read just a random paragraph or from cover to cover. The layout even makes it easier to simply skim through entire chapters at a time and still get the most out of it.
I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with chronic pain. In fact, I really can't think of anything bad to say about it. Unlike many books on the subject, this one doesn't only cover homeopathic ways to treat pain. Let's face it - some of us actually need to turn to prescription medications for pain relief, and this book talks about all the various options available to treat pain. Pick up a copy - I'm willing to bet that no matter how knowledgeable you are on the subject of your pain and pain management, you're still going to learn something new from this book.
