Book Review: Everything I expected

This anthology is a great introduction to the world of Clive Barker, and even now that he has moved away from horror fiction it was these books that earnt him the recognition that he deserves. Each story is varied and no two stories are alike. Every story has a lot of thought behind it and they aren't just mindless tales of gore. Some are also quite comical "The Yattering And Jack" being the first one that springs to mind. The fact that the stories are so diverse and varied compels you to read on. There is no story here that I would not heartily recommend and even if you're not a horror fan you should give this book a try because it will surprise you. If you are a horror fan you should already have this book, if not why not? This is a book that I recommend to every solely because no matter what tastes you may have there is something here for everyone.
