Book Review: An Exile Puertorican's Kitchen Must Have!

I live in Canada, and was recently visiting the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico. There, at my late great uncle's weekend home, I saw a 1966 edition of this book.
I glanced at the book and fell in love with it! While the 1966 printing still used ingredients not so popular today (i.e. "manteca") in some recipes, I knew that I could adapt these recipes with more healthier choice of ingredients, and still keeping the "Criollo" essence of the recipe.
