This book should be required reading for clothing store managers. What men find most frustrating about clothes shopping is the lack of strategy involved. We like strategy! Once you understand that and the general frustration associated with prolonged shopping, you begin to understand why men let their wives shop for them. But, armed with Carole Jackson's, Color for Men, there may be light at the end of the tunnel. The book simplifies the complicated jungle of unfamiliar patterns and colors such that any man can approach dressing and dressing well with strategy and confidence. Essentially, it cuts your time in half - for men that's a plus. The material is a bit dated but the information is timeless. For instance; contrary to popular belief, men should experiment with choosing their own colors because you naturally gravitate to flattering colors. It's amazing how poorly most people; including women, choose colors. But with this book you'll be color blind no more. It's empowering to learn what works for you and how to do it. Color for Men may not be the best fashion book available, but it does arm you with enough information to build a wardrobe and feel good about it.
