Book Reviews of Complete Vampire Chronicles (Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the body Thief)Book Review: All of these people have it all wrong. Summary: 5 StarsAll of you whining little kids up there have it all wrong. This story, these sets of stories, aren't about power, or the ways to get it.
Nor are they about these beautiful Hurculean men (the vampires) trying to kill the world and show off their strengths.
Anne Rice created these characters to portray the world's, this world's, sense of physical, mental, and emotional anguish that we humans must go through.
The author allows the reader an escape hole to crawl through, within these books, to separate themselves from their own emotional pains, and reflect on their
own faults, and hardships. Thus, the reader can grasp at a new sense of what is beautiful, and help to diminish their own hardships, through
experiencing the pains and losses that these lovely vampires must experience.
Book Review: Interview With the Vampire Summary: 5 StarsThis was a GREAT book! Much better than the movie, I think.
It was filled with action and suspense - very difficult to
put down!!! I definitely recommend this story to anyone
with an interest in vampires, love, or just a good book!

Book Review: Magical! Summary: 5 StarsVampires will never be the same after reading this book. Anne Rice writes with beautiful grace and her words pull you deep into the story. I almost believe in these supernatural creatures now! Lestat, Louis, Armand, Gabriel....fall into their spell. I've read these books over 4 times each and every time I do, the magic still works and I am in another world
Book Review: The best series I have ever read!!!!! Summary: 5 StarsThis is one of the best series I have
ever read! But beware, everyone!
The books are absolutely nothing
like the movie!! Sure, its kinda the
same, but different ending to Interview,
and lotsa changes! Also, you get to
know and actually like Lestat, Armand,
ect. I couldn't put the books down!
It's like Anne Rice wrote them almost
to make you belive in vampires!! If you
liked the movie, these books are not
for you- you'll never be able to picture
Lestat or Louis or Armand any differently!
Armand is not supposed to look a thing like
Antonio Banderas(or however you spell it)-
he was supposed to look like he was
only 17!!! So I advise you- you'll have
to completely change the way you picture
these beings looking!!! Personally, after
reading the novels, I think the movie SUX!
It just doesn't capture the spirit of the novels!
Clue-- I cannot stand Claudia now, I think
it was wrong of her to try to kill Lestat-
I found out what his life was like!!
I hate to spoil it, but he DID NOT kill
the guy who made him (Magnus)-
the guy killed himself by jumping into
a fire right after he made Lestat, who I
must add, did not want to be made at
all, but then quite enjoys his life, for the
most part!!
Over all, I would recommend this to
to anyone who was willing to change
their ideas of how these people look!
(Think Brad Pitt as Lestat, Tom Cruise as Louis,
some teenager as Armand!)
