Book Review: A Nice Departure From Other Slow-Cooker Cookbooks

When I bought a crockpot, I noticed immediately that many of the associated cookbooks' recipes were extremely unhealthy. I wanted delicious, slow-cooked meals sometimes, but not ones that were going to make me feel guilty or increase my risk of heart disease! Thankfully, Cooking Light had their own crockpot cookbook. I like this cookbook but I admit, I keep going back to the same 2 or 3 recipes and branch out only occasionally. The Picadillo recipe is one of my family's favorites and is great for company. I recommend this book for that recipe alone! Overall, there are a lot of great recipes for all sorts of meals (not just dinner!). I enjoy this cookbook very much.
