Book Review: Serj is the Man

I am really impressed. Serj Tankian has created so much great art. All the SOAD albums, his solo album is freakin incredible, and this book is great. I do not usually read poetry at all. This book marks the first time I've read poetry for enjoyment.
Like his song writing, his poetry can be cryptic at times and that may turn off some people but if you give this book an open mind you will be rewarded with some great insights by a really cool guy. Seriously, this is great stuff.

Serj should be heard by everyone around the world. His poems are amazingly good and correct about life in general. I have the specail edition one (cause sej signs it woohoo) and i keep it close to my bed so i can read his poems before i sleep. A must read by all.Book Review: brilliant

but you must be familiar with the English language to understand what he writes ... i have dozens of unknown words, so i can not enjoy it as i want. and probably i can't understand the messages in some poems...Book Review: excellent source of contemporary poetry

Whether you like SOAD or not, anyone can appreciate this poetry book for its face value. He does a good job at protraying our modern society the way he sees it, and it's damn real... If you like saul williams' "said the shotgun to the head," you should pick this up
