Book Review: An extreme blueprint for many politicians' motivation world-wide

An incredibly well-researched tome on the very sad history detailing the theft of an entire, promising nation's and its' populace's future. Corruption, abetted by other countries' corporations and diplomats, is of timely interest as most of the world's nations embark upon massive spending to address today's economic crisis. It is hard to imagine any scheme not employed by successive Peruvian administrations', civilian or military, diversion of public funds in furtherance of personal financial, political or power-grabbing gain. Maybe the saddest consequence is the depth to which so many Peruvian generations have been conditioned to accept corruption as the norm at all levels of administration in institutions and society. This book is a MUST read for citizens of any country wishing to understand the huge direct and indirect costs of corruption.
