Book Review: "Author and his book are full of hogwash" states reviewer

I have never read a book that is more insulting to the reader's intelligences than this book. The author's idea of "secrets" to persuade a customer to buy what you are selling is... wait for it.... Have a great product, sell it cheap, get it to them quickly, give them more than what they ask for, demonstrate how your product/service will make their life easer, and it just goes on and on with a handful of other common sense facts reworded through out the book to make it sound like new information in each retelling. None of the information in this book is anything that anyone in a sales or service type job would not think as a starting point, it's not covert, it's good customer service and if you don't know this stuff already that than you have no business interacting with the customers. Find yourself a nice desk job away from all other humans and let someone else do the selling/servicing.
Bottom line is that this book is a huge waste of time and money and I would go so far as to say that I feel conned by the author and his followers who wrote positive reviews.
