Book Review: A Great Poly Clay Guidebook

This is a great book for anyone interested in polymer clay sculpting! This book has great tips for sculpting in polymer clay, ranging from sculpting hands, feet, torsos, and faces. This book even shows techniques for creating life-like hair from twine! It shows how to fabricate textured clay in the form of clothing like suede, denim, and lace and shows how to build and incorporate wire and aluminum foil armatures for your figures/figurines.
The book came in a plastic wrap and although I ordered it new, the cover corners were a little bent but I think this was due to the packaging. Pages were crisp and shiny and the author did a great job of describing their techniques in detail with the inclusion of step-by-step references photos.
Overall I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in polymer clay techniques. I am a total greenhorn to this art but with this book I feel I could be a master artisan in no time!
