Book Review: a must-have reference
Summary: 5 Stars
I use two reference books when studying paediatrics. One is my Dutch textbook the other is the `Current Diagnosis and Treatment in Pediatrics'. I would say that this book compares favourably in a couple of ways.
It is more detailed and has a better structure than my Dutch book. It's easy to look up relevant information and there's a lot of it. The book is concise and easily readable. There is only one improvement I would like to see in the next edition: more (color)-photographs!
To sum it up:
It's a very good book for studying because of the clear structure and complete information. Compared with most of my other reference books the cost is very mild.
I would recommend this text to all medical students and practitioners interested in paediatrics.
