Book Review: this book is insane. most people will not 'get it', though

Essentially, Chris Elliott (used to be a regular on Dave Letterman Show- usually dressed up like Marlon Brando, had short-lived show "Get A Life" on Fox in the early '90s- about a 30 year old paperboy with ludicrous plotlines)is whining about his poor, wrteched upbringing as a son of a famous comedian, with his dad rebutting his stories in every other chapter. Actually, Chris' stories are so over-the-top ludicrous --he was a 750 pound 12 year old who was brought to and from school on a crane...oh yeah, they lived in what is now the NY Metropolitan Museum of Art--that his dad gives up the rebuttals and tells odd stories about toll booths in Maine.

If you like the hilarious and inane, buy this book (only used, though- it is not worth paying full price unless you are in the Chris Elliot Fan Club).
