Book Review: A Necessity For All Single Women
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great book, especially helpful for those women who have absentee husbands or no husband at all. I share it with all my widowed or single friends. For instance, just a few months ago a friend of ours died quite suddenly. His widowed wife was quite unprepared. Shortly after his death she had a simple repair problem in her home, something her husband had always taken care of. She lamented that she was on a limited budget and could not pay the cost of a repairman to come in and do what her husband had always done. I loaned her my copy of "Dare to Repair", then decided to just give it to her and order another. Now I keep an extra on hand to give in the future. I also think it would make an excellent wedding gift for any young couple just starting out in their new home. Usually up until that time they have not been responsible for upkeep on household repairs.
