This is some serious good stuff!
Lets just say that i was glued to the book right from page one until the end!
Dark Lover boasts of a rich plot filled with vivacious, loveable characters that leave you wanting more.
Wrath, is the leading man, he is the blind king of the Vampire's race but events of his past and his own qualms keeps him from ascending the throne. (sound familliar?)
Beth, is half human and vampire, she is the daughter of Darius, another member of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. As she nears her change, she needs the protection and help of a vampire.
When the two meet, sparks (at the risk of sounding cliche) fly.
So follows an intense, action packed, rollercoaster ride of a romance that is cleverly developed through an almost impeccable plot as aided by a host of unforgettable characters. The vampire genre may be chocked full of similar interpretations and cliches but Ms ward adds enough spins and twists to truly make this a captivating and 'new' story.
As an avid reader of all paranormal romances, i say Ms Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood books promise to be even better than that of Ms Kenyon's.
Don't miss Rhage's story, Eternal Lover, its just as delicious.
Can't wait for the next installment.
