Book Review: Amazing!!! So helpful!!!

This book got me through my first year of clinicals!!!!!!!!
As a nursing student we were required to know all the information possible for the medications our patients would be taking. This drug guide helped me so much! It comes with a CD you can put on your computer so you can just type in the name and look up information about certain drugs. If you don't have a computer at the time though, this book is small enough to just carry around with you and contains every bit of information you will need to know about medications. It was very helpful!!!

I purchased this book in January of 2008 as it was recommended by the college I was attending. I have referenced it many of times for various assignments. 7 out of 10 times this book will have the drug I am looking for. There are many new drugs out there that are used on a regular bases in the hospital that you will not find in this book. Save yourself the money and the shelf space and either get a PDA or a newer edition.Book Review: Great book, especially CD!

This is a great resource. The CD and program (QLU) are particularly helpful as I've been writing care plans for nursing school. I graduate next month and this will continue to be a valuable resource as I work in pediatric home care!Book Review: GREAT BOOK

Excellent drug book. I began nursing school with a PDR. A classmate had this book and after being in clinicals with them I found that the Davis Drug book was more useful and easier to read.
