I love Davis's drug guide. It's loaded with up to date practical nursing information. It has everything you will ever need to know about the meds you pass. It was a little bigger than I expected, but the information within made up for the size. I take it with me to work everyday.Book Review: Fabulous work again, Davis!

I've used most of the other books out there because every floor at our hospital seems to have a different one... this book is by far the best. Easily organized by generic and trade names and very complete. The PDA version is just as good. Most other PDA versions fall short -- Davis's is the only PDA version I've seen that indexes by generic as well as trade name and it's far more complete than the other references. This update is aces! The added information on pregnancy/lactation safety came just in time (I had just started the L&D rotation). The Quick Look-up feature is very helpful! Overall, this Drug Guide is a MUST for nursing students and licensed nurses!
