I honestly can't give this book enough praise. I don't think the back cover does it justice. I went into the novel thinking it was going to go one way, and was pleasantly surprised to find myself lost without a compass point! Nine times out of ten I can guess the way a book or movie will end, but not with Dead Souls. Masterfully written and original... I need to buy stock in this guy!
And while I enjoyed dining on "The Demonologist," and "Deep In The Darkness," Laimo's new novel is a cerebral treat, a dark and visceral banquet guaranteed to satisfy the most voracious horror appetite.

For eighteen-year-old Johnny Petrie, the dilapidated farmhouse in Maine meant a way out.
