Book Reviews of Deadly Gamble

Book Review: Good book for first one in sequence
Summary: 4 Stars

It was a good book. I had trouble getting through the first 50 pages. This is not one of Linda Iael Miller's traditional book. Mojo-the main character had some weird visitations from her past aka the ex dead husband, she was able to solve some murders, while still trying to fight her resistance from her steamy current boyfriend. This girl has some bad carma and I'm lucky not to be in her shoes. Great book as always from Linda Iael Miller, check out the sequeal to this book, worth the read if you like this book.

Book Review: Great character
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my first book by this author and so I had no expectations coming in. I was overjoyed by this character and this book. Mojo Sheepshanks was everthing a female character needs to be. Tough, independent and a little vunerable. Deadly Gamble had a great mystery, wonderful secondary characters including the ghost cat, Chester and the basset hound, Russell. I will definitely order the next in this series and hope many more adventures of Mojo Sheepshanks will be forthcoming. This was a very entertaining and delightful and sometimes eerie read.

Book Review: I loved it!
Summary: 4 Stars

Thoroughly enjoyed it - couldn't put it down. Can't wait to get the next one.

Book Review: Lots of fun and strange twists
Summary: 5 Stars

I really enjoy the twists in the story and how everything ends up. I hope she continues with this series of books they are entertaining. After reading this book, I bought Deadly Intentions which was fun too. I cannot wait until she thinks of another one with her new "partner". Read both books you will love them.

Book Review: Loved This Book
Summary: 4 Stars

I was so ready to give this book 5 stars plus when the last 2 or 3 pages of the book stopped me cold. Call me crazy but I do not like reading about dead children. That ruined it for me. The rest of the book was wonderful and I was looking forward to reading the next book in the series until I found out it has something to do with the mystery of the dead child. I can handle adult victims but don't like reading about dead children, even in fiction. Just a sore spot with me.
