Book Review: My Favorite Nicholas Sparks Book

Dear John is about a young man named John Tyree, it starts off in 2000, he is in the army and spending his leave with his quiet and introverted father, when he meets the girl of his Dreams Savannah Lynn Curtis. Savannah and John share a summer romance before he goes back to the army. The two stuggle with a long distance relationship and try to make it work, but as 9/11/01 happens he re-ups in the army, and the long distance wears on there relationship. And he eventually gets the Dear John letter while he is fighting in Iraq. Years later he looks up savannah to figure out what went wrong. This I like this story because it's relatable, and understandable. The characters aren't perfect, and i like that they have flaws and they aren't cookie cutter characters that usually see in his books. It's not a story based on two people romantic feeling for each other, but it also taps in to other issues, very real issues that many of us deal with such as the war in iraq and autism.Book Review: Not like the others

I have read numerous Nicholas Sparks books, but had avoided this one because of the title. The premise of a "Dear John" letter seemed so depressing. But, recently I needed something to read one afternoon, and came upon the book once again. I finished the book in several hours, and enjoyed it very much. The plot was timely for our times and revealed the very best in the book's characters.Book Review: Say Hello to Romance's and Goodbye to Fantasy's.

Dear John is a book about a man named John Tryee that falls in love with a women named Savannah Lynn Curtis. When John Tryee meets savannah he knows he is in love with her. I gave Dear John by Nicholas Sparks a 5 out od 5 because it is one of the most intellegent books I have ever read. Most people don't like romances because the are cheesy and unbeleiveable. Dear John is so real. The book even takes place during a real time period 9/11/01. Dear John is an amazing book and Nicholas Sparks is a very talented writer in times in the book I even cried.
