Book Review: DECEPTIVELY DELICIOUS COOKBOOK Summary: 1 StarsDeceptively Delicious
I am totally not thrilled. Has a few tempting ideas, but basically boring and fluffy. Does have some nice photos. Maybe can use as a grab bag gift?
Book Review: a lot of work Summary: 3 Starsa lot of work and mess and dishes for a small amount of veggie per serving. Just steam the veggies and eat them as is.
Book Review: deceptively healthful Summary: 3 StarsThe book includes many recipes where the flavor of nutricious vegatables are included in other foods most kids like to eat. Haven't yet tried the recipes because the amount of vegetables per serving seems to small. Instead I will use recipes that make vegetables taste better in and of themselves. The section listing the nutrition value of many vegetables is very useful.
Book Review: A great idea Summary: 3 StarsThis is a great way to get children to eat vegstables. I do not cook, but my daughter cooks for my five year old grandchild. I hate to cook that is the trouble. One has to like to cook to really use this book. Otherwise, the idea of sneaking in veggies is great. The graphic are childish but the written content is adequate. Its the idea I like. I write social-history. Look up my work, there are several books Researching Chicano Communities: Social-Historical, Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual Space
