Book Reviews of Definitely Dead (Southern Vampire Mysteries, Book 6)Book Review: Better and even better! Summary: 5 StarsThese stories just get better and better. When I reviewed her 5th. novel in this series, I said that that was the best yet. Now Charlaine Harris has gone one better. Her main characters have become more rounded; we understand a little more about Sookie's family background and we are introduced to some extra supes in this book which extend the family of 'strange' people down in Louisiana.
The book moves us away from her previous main supernaturals, Eric and Bill, to concentrate further up the vampire hierarchy. As ever, murder, mayhem, Sookie's rather feminine yet gutsy attitude all lead us to riot and carnagefest as a grand finale.
For light yet fascinating reading, this is a series I hope will live as long as the vampires!
