You will not be sorry if you love cactus and succulents as much as I do! The ideas are endless and pictures are awesome! I live in Escondido, CA. and the weather is perfect for these plants. People love my home and stop all the time to tell me how much they love the landscaping. My son (who happens to be a novice) designed my large front yard that was dead lawn for years and years. A little DG, cactus and succulents and don't forget the tropical plants as well, such as palms and giant birds. There you have it! Have fun!
