I bought this book on a lark because I love Souther Salazar's artwork, thinking maybe if I liked it I would send it to my nephew. I didn't like it, I loved it, and bought another for my nephew so I wouldn't have to give up my copy. The pictures are vaguely reminiscent of "Harold and The Purple Crayon," happy and bright with clean lines, and the alliteration is clever and fun to read. I really do think it's a book kids will love to hear and read over and over again, while also being a book their parents enjoy.
