This is the funniest book of the decade. I laughed out loud so hard during the 10 minutes it took to read it that my husband was curious enough to listen to me read it the next night. Author Jackie French must hold a record for the most laughs in the fewest amount of words. Her wombat is charmingly innocent, a creature who trains humans to feed him on demand. This short book has gorgeous illustrations and humorously understated narration.
I'm buying several copies of this wonderful book for my family and friends with small children. Heck, you do not have to have children to enjoy this belly-laugh of a book!
