The Dummies book speaks about basics of Digital Photography, and is absolutely impressive, as all the Dummies Series Editions, in the language and presentation. Anyone who has a basic understanding of Photography, will get a good idea of the Digital Version of Photography, and How-to's of getting the best out of Digital Camera.

For those who haven't yet got their Digital Cam yet, but wish to - Chapter 3 is your guide. Decide the Cam based on your exact requirements and the recommendations presented here, and You're sure to get it right.

The basic techniques of performing all adjustments to fine tune your Digital Photos are clearly summarized. Flash Adjustments, Lighting Arrangements, Exposure Control are all very clearly explained. "Focus on Focus" is pretty good and in depth.

The book also explains moving the shots to the Computer Medium, and maintaining them as albums pretty well. The Common Picture File Formats are well explained, with tips to tune each element of the Photo, using Software Applications.
