Book Review: Hilarious to young and old alike

I had this book as a small child 20 or so years ago, and of all the picture books I owned at the time it was the one I most enjoyed looking through, simply because the quirky illustrations had me in stitches every time. It had the same effect on my mum too! Not only is this book fantastically funny, but the simple safety tips it gives are very clear and sensible, and cover all the places and situations where children are likely to encounter hazards and what they should do about them. I do remember taking the advice in the book into consideration whenever I encountered a scenario from the book in real life - in fact, I still do in adult life - and the pictures make the safety advice all the more memorable.
I'm so glad it's still in print and on sale. I would recommend it to anyone, but especially parents of young children :)
