Book Review: engrossing entertainment throughout but anticlimatic ending
Summary: 4 Stars
Enjoyed the unfolding of all the characters - much below the surface was well worth discovering. The Ya- Yas were a delightful bunch and full of life! Sidda's difficulty in maintaining a good relationship with a complicated mother is something many daughters can relate to..however placing blame on her mother for her failure to have a good relationship is old..and the sub story with Sidda and Conner was a little trite. So much rich story telling in the beginning sets you up for the disappointing anti-climatic ending however. Just sort of fizzled for me. But enjoyed it while it lasted.
