Book Review: What an introduction to the world of fantasy novels!!!
Summary: 5 Stars
I first read this book about 8 years ago at the age of eleven. It was my first fantasy book, and since then I've read hundreds trying (unsuccessfully) to find an author to match Melanie Rawn's talent. The book 'Dragon Prince' is a tale of epic proportions full of believable characters, adventure, romance, dragons, and magic. What more could anyone ask for? Melanie Rawn's real talent is in her characterisation. Each character is brought vividly to life so that not only can you imagine what they look like but you feel like you know them all personally. Indeed by the end of the book many of them seem like old friends. This book is the first in a series of two trilogies, and I can guarantee, once you've read this you'll be rushing out to buy the other five!
