Book Reviews of Drawing Down the Moon: Witches, Druids, Goddess-Worshippers, and Other Pagans in AmericaBook Review: The Best Ever.....from this life to the next! Summary: 5 StarsI am eclectic(Celtic, Faery, Druid paganism). I can honestly tell you that without this book I would have never fully understood Wicca and witches, and I would have never understood the paths that may be so contrasting in ritual but really so simular in thought and inspiration . The author is truly a visionary to our religion and even better than that, her view of wicca and the alike are not biased. I am solitary, but when ever I am able to talk about my beliefs and what books people should read about witchcraft, I never forget to mention this book... okay I'd better go I am rambling and Goddess knows that can be sooo annoying. Blessed Be FOREVER! Merry meet, merry part and merry meet again.

Book Review: Brilliant; amazing; read it now Summary: 5 StarsIt's no coincidence that Ms. Adler works for National Public Radio -- although I hear that they could be more supportive of her spirituality. This is an AMAZING book. I first read it when I became a witch, and it was obviously sent by the Goddess. Accurate, scholarly, objective information about the craft in its many manifestations. It really helped me understand the various aspects of paganism. It is rich in detail, and represents Ms. Adler's tireless interviews and investigation of various parts of paganism.
Book Review: One of the best guides to Earth-Centered religions available Summary: 5 StarsI had a copy of this years ago, and while I found it complicated to read at first, I found it more and more useful on various groups. There is a large section on feminist Goddess Worship but other things too and I'm not sorry I read it. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone new(or old) to any Earth-Centered religion, whether it be Wicca, Faery, Eclectic, Church of All Worlds or Druidism.
Book Review: The best comprehensive look at Paganism available Summary: 5 StarsAdler's book is the best look at Paganism and earth-centered spirituality I've found. It was a wonderful beginner book when I was first becoming interested, but I still return to it. She's fair and open-minded, explaining the good things in some traditions and the bad things in others. I've been assigned it a number of times at my Unitarian Universalist seminary, and always the class has had interesting and provocative discussions.
