Book Review: Honest and deeply moving but the end will be disappointing for those wishing to give up alcohol

This is an extraordinarily in-depth and moving account of Knapp's battle with booze over a long period and it is also an analysis of the insecurities many young woman face about their looks and their worth which I think will resonate with many and I would recommend it to anyone who has felt depressed. However, only the last chapter is devoted to Knapp's actually giving up alcohol and it doesn't go into any depth, other than attending 90 AA meetings in a row, whereas, given the amount of detail she went into about what happened when she drank I would have preferred more details about the giving up process. Otherwise, a very good read.
